UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 7 Version 7 Support Relative date showing when I don't want it to

Hi there,
I used to have my forums set to show relative dates (today, yesterday) but have since decided that I just want to show the numerical date for consistency with the rest of my site. I have unchecked 'show relative timestamps' in the control panel (v7.5.2), but if a user is not logged in it still shows relative dates. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Not sure about this (and probably leave it to the experts here) however, have you cleared the cache since you changed it? I know that sometimes I make changes like that and they don't always take right away and clearing the cache helps.

Hi Dunny, thanks but I'd already tried that - no joy.

Try clearing cache manually.
Ftp to the forum/cache folder.
Delete all but index.htm and index.html
It should rebuild on its own if not use the clear cache option again in the control panel.

curious as the where specifically it shows relative dates.. an island ? in a forum ?

Just FYI,
I visited your site lovethegarden.com and it appears proper to me.
Possibly then it is a browser cache issue, not a forum issue.
