i uploaded the software just fine but when i crate forums and categories say like you all have here you have the set up kinda like what i want for example

forum/threads under that forum

thats what im trying to accomplish on mine I cant get it to do that at all even with selecting the category option

What you are describing is just forums within categories.

News (Forum in above category)
Feedback (same)
Pre-sales (same)
Affiliates (same)

Create a category called 'test' then create four forums called 1, 2, 3, 4 (assign them all to 'test'.)

...and you will see the result exactly as you describe

THANKS i had a setting that was making the forums show up as categories instead of forums

yes, that is the "enable category only" feature. i rarely see that setting used

I think it was just added for sites like bella online that have hugely popular forums with lots of categories
