I've got a user trying to upload some pictures from a image service that has a filetype ending like this...
JPG?imgmax=800
For some reason I can't figure out where to edit the allowable filetypes. It's not the feature settings -> attachments pane. Anyone know where? Can I put a wildcard in there like .jpg* ?

Humm. The suffix should not be a file type. but anyway have you tried to delete that part for a upload?

I would have to agree with Ruben as it sounds like imgmax=800 is just a max dimension.

I think you'd have to add a Custom Tag supporting that service... If it's just the one user though I'd recommend they use something like Photobucket which i believe attaches a standard image extension.

You are correct Gizmo about photobucket adding the proper image extension.

just append &bleh.jpg or &bla=bleh.jpg to the end of the URL to the image service to 'fool' the bbcode.inc.php interpreter the image service will probably ignore the extra params... or should, at least without my knowing the exact service, i am only guessing too
