While you are changing the date and time formats, and have added new format, why not take the time to add the international standard for date and time format set by ISO, the International Standards Organisation in the ISO 8601 standard. This is widely in use in Europe, as it is also the standard used by the EU, and I would guess in more places all over the world. I've been modding threads since 2.7 to add this in, it would be nice if this request could finally be heard...

Hi Gardener! 2.7, wow..that was loooong ago. I'll need to decipher that page to get down to what the actual PHP date() string needs to be, but we can certainly get it added I'm sure.

Yeah I know, it's been a while, but we've stuck by threads in all incarnations of our site and we'll definately upgrade as soon as possible when v7 is out. It's just a bit annoying to have to add/change one of the time formats in every upgrade.
The date() function needs this: "Y-m-d H:i:s"

You got it. It's one of the available time formats now.

While on the subject of dates and times (oh no, not again ...): On the ubb.classic edit preferences page, the Time Adjustment option displays as follows: Time Adjustment The current server time is: 14 June, 2006 17:44 Your computer time is: 15 June, 2006 07:45 For local times, adjust to: 14 hours hours Given that current (local) server time is used as the base (to my mind, not a good idea, but i digress). A calculation is made to suggest the adjustment that has to be made to "correct" the datestamps. Unfortunately, this feature does not appear in the "edit preferences" section of vs 7. One more thing i discovered as editing this message: When I "preview reply" the QUOTE block comes out far too narrow.
