What was wrong with it? I didn't think it was close to being offensive and the important stuff was covered. Maybe just my sailor opinion though.

First of all the post was out of context for the forum. Second is we are or should be professionals about what is posted here. Enjoyed by all probably not. If I am wrong in deleting the image then let the powers that be delete me as a user.

FWIW, Ruben, I agree with you. I saw it earlier, and thought the same thing.

No no Ruben, I agree with you on your assessment and I meant no offense or disrespect. I just (in my opinion) just didn't find it offensive. For reference, it wouldn't have been able to stay in a forum on my boards either, but only because I have younguns that frequent the boards.

Well, I totally disagree with the censorship. We see more in daily newspapers.
You need to lighten up Ruben.

We as men probably saw no issue with the picture and I enjoyed it myself. But as a public forum, This site does have female visitors as well as we don't use age verification. So children can visit also. So I found this post did need censorship.

ok... This isn't worth arguing about, but I would say that those same women & children are quite capable of seeing this level of titillation on tv and in many periodicals. ...and by the way, this this has been on the forum for months and was not considered too extreme by the moderators prior to your appointment.

Well, this thread encouraged me to add an avatar so that it might be a little more apparent that the members here aren't all men. While it wouldn't make me run away from the forums here, (which as an admin using UBB I find quite helpful to visit), the inclusion of some imagery on any sort of regular basis would have a somewhat discouraging effect. It is not professional. Ruben - thank you kindly.

Hello mig I'm not why both you and Ruben use the word 'professional'. Is it at all necessary? Not everyone uses a forum as a professional organ. In fact, I believe (rightly or wrongly) that many if not most fora are used in a social context. The defence of professionalism is I believe, sophism. (Intended or otherwise.) My opinion remains the same. I still strongly disagree with censorship! (No deliberate intent to inflame meant; simply a debate.)

Hello Driv! Well no, of course not everyone uses forums as a professional organ, although this (ubbcentral) is an extension of a business, isn't it? Sophism it isn't, imo. I don't expect to find imagery of a certain sort in a doctors, lawyers or other professional offices or places of business. Some newspapers perhaps, but not the ones I tend to read. My point was only that businesses will generally tend not to want to discourage but to encourage all. No flame taken - I don't mind a friendly debate. We may have to agree to disagree on this one though.

Not everyone uses a forum as a professional organ. In the case of this forum yes, I believe it is since this is a support forum for the software, whether the user uses the software for business or social there should be a level of 'professionalism' here. My opinion remains the same. I still strongly disagree with censorship!
(No deliberate intent to inflame meant; simply a debate.) Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but none of us know how the owners of the software and this forum want it ran. I can only guess the mods here may know. As with each of our own forums, we will allow or disallow certain material to be posted. Just because one may allow certain material to be posted doesn't mean it is allowed everywhere. I was not offended one bit by it, but that is not something I would allow posted on my site nor would I expect it to be allowed here which is a support site for the software. You may not like that it was removed, some may approve that it was. What it boils down to is, its not your site, nor mine. I agree with Ruben and the way he handled it as these support forums should be kept professional. Does this mean no joking around and such, no not at all but there is and should be a line of professionalism.

Ladies and Gents,
I meant no harm in my Holiday Greetings message, I am a bit surprised that it would be found offensive on a forum when one can turn to ABC and watch Desperate Housewives and see more. How about that Nancy Grace nipple slip on Dancing with the Stars... oh my...
With more and more sexual innuendos and comments on over the air television, this was pretty bizarre.
These were women in bathing suits something that kids see on the beach, something that WOMEN wear.
However at the end of the day it's a business decision and I'll respect that.
As a 12 year customer of the product, I apologize and I won't run for President anytime soon, lord knows this subject would come up.
I can say Happy New Years to everyone still right?
From not the PC crowd......
