I just installed ubb.threads and it seems to be working well.

The only thing that when it emails me something, like a password, the time in the email is 11 hours off. I sent it at 2:30pm and the email says that it is 3:30am.

The time on my server is correct and the time in the forums is listed correctly:

Current adjusted date is: 10/23/02 02:30 PM

Any ideas on where I need to look to fix this? Is it a php thing?

Thanks.

I got it right away, about 10-15 seconds later when I checked my email.

the email says that it is 3:30am

Do you mean that your email client indicated that the email was sent at 3:30am?

If so, could you post the full headers of the email here, munging any personal info if you want?

Yes. It is the time listed by my email client.

Here the messages source:

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="">quote:</font><hr /><font size="" face="">Received: from mail [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] by mail.mydomain.com
(SMTPD32-7.03) id AAEDFD7F00C4; Sun, 27 Oct 2002 15:30:21 -0600
Date: Sun, 27 Oct 2002 15:30:21 +0600</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="" face="">The time listed by my email client was 3:30am. My computers clock is set correctly. And I just sent a message and the time on the message was correct.

Any ideas?

But is the actual server time 11 hours off? SendMail is going to have the actual server time used in the headers I believe. Anything related to the forum's display of time will have it adjusted according to users prefs and your configure file.

The "headers" function in ubbt.inc.php does not add in the time the email is being sent out. I'm not sure if this can be forced or not but would guess not.

Might this be the case? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
