Yeah, none of these recommended products have anything to do with UBB.Threads, or even server administration; and the lack of any sort of communication from the ownership or any appointed staff makes one quite weary these days.

One would hope that we're not just running ad's for 3rd party sites, this has been a support site for a forum software title since inception, seeing ad's everywhere that don't even have to deal with server components is kind of a slap in the face as a consumer.

Well I never buy anything from Ebay without a return policy.
The listing appears to be honest and sincere where he states he does not know if it works or what it is used for.
It appears your only recourse now is to give a negative feedback.

Then possibly the vendor may do something to keep his 100% positive feedback?

The way it is presented, everything within that URL appears to be sold by or with some connection to UBBCentral.com.

Why does UBBCentral.com, "Building Communities Since 1997," attempt to trick people in to thinking they are selling computer hardware?

The name listed within the header is "UBB Store," just below, "UBB Central." No explanation. No disclaimers.

When hardware is purchased through UBBCentral.com, because UBBCentral.com is also directly selling other products (UBBThreads software) alongside these, wouldn't UBBCentral be partially liable if a bad sale occurred on these, too?

The same page has the UBBCentral brand name and logo in the header. It also has "Purchase" in that same header. This could very well lead one to believe that whatever is listed under the "UBBCentral" / "UBB Store" name, is being supported by them as well.

To further, "Sales Questions" is noted, but it's not clear what "Sales" is referring to.

Shows in search engine results too; I was looking for something through Google and Bing last week and kept finding links from UBBCentral to EBay in the results :/.
