When I view a thread, down the left side it has the users. Within those containers there is a mood emoji and it says OP right next to it. These are touching. How do I place a small space between them to make them look better on the eye please?
Thank you

That would mean editing 2 template files post_top.tpl post_side. tpl They are available in the cp to edit them
Look for op??? in the file and add a space ,LF or whatever.
The reason there are two templates is it depends on your layout settings to have the user appear on the side or top of each post.
Caveat Emptor Code editing is not supported by the vendor Also if you upgrade all your edits will be lost and need to be re-applied.
Another is this site is running on v8.0 and appears to have resolved that issue but it is still in testing soon to be released I think.
FYI For people willing to modify UBB stock code ,Ubbdev.com is the place to visit and discuss not here

You might be able to get away with: .post-op {
margin-left: 5px;
}
