Summary:The #body_col > table.t_outer element on the private message confirmation page (/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrm) causes a layout shift because it renders at 0px height before expanding to 642px after content loads.
Environment:URL:
https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrmAffected element: #body_col > table.t_outer
CLS impact: P75 = 0.115, P90 = 0.147, P99 = 0.177
Observed behavior:Real User Monitoring (RUM) captured the following shift sequence:
Initial render: { width: 1118, height: 0 }
Post-load: { width: 1072, height: 642 }
The table starts with zero height and then pushes all subsequent content down by ~642px once the confirmation message (or form content) is injected.
Expected behavior:The table should reserve its final vertical space during the initial paint so that no layout shift occurs.
Suggested fix:Add an explicit min-height to table.t_outer on this page template, or ensure the confirmation content is server-rendered inside the table before the browser paints.
