Hello.

Everything passed and installed, but now I have bulliten boards that are text only on a default background.

Do I have to configure something?

Arent there any templates I can start off with?

Please let me know...

Just took a look at your site.

Probably a couple of problems.

I notice it is trying to load the images from this URL:

http://www.scomplink.com/ubbthreads/images/newposts.gif

it should be this:

http://www.scomplink.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads/images//newposts.gif

Notice the extra 'ubbthreads' and extra slash. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Also your stylesheet path (when I viewed the HTML source of the page is this)

ubbthreads/stylesheets//blackandblue.css

It should be a full path to the stylesheet.... again without the extra slash.
Somthing like this:

/home/mysite/whatever/html/ubbthreads/stylesheets/blackandblue.css

So check closely the Paths and URLs in your config file. Remove the extra 'ubbthreads' from the images. Put the full path to stylesheets... and make sure there are no trailing slashes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Once you fix it... hit reload a few times.

If it still doesn't work, check the source of yoru page (right click -> view source) and look where it is trying to load the stuff from and see if it's right. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

FWIW, what happened is I didn't set all of my UNIX permissions correctly and the database couldnt get into the files it need so I wasn't getting enything but default text on a default background and it was a mess.

I deleted everything and reinstalled it from scratch and eveyrthing worked like a charm!
