UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support UPGRADE to v6.5b1

I am following all the steps in the UBB.THREADS.DOCUMENTATION. But as soon as I get to step 23 (logon), it won't take my username/password combination. I can delete the ubbthreads and mysql and restore from backup and my name and password are accepted again..... I don't understand it. I am upgrading from v6.4.2 to v6.5b1.

I don't receive an error it just displays the same page again <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Make sure you are trying to log in as user number 2 - the primary site admin.

How do I make one? This used to be a ubb site that was converted to a ubbt site and upgraded many times. I have a user 4 and user 20....but no user 2.

It worked for me using member number 3....after I changed my password to go from storing as a crypt hash to an md5 one.

I see that was reported in the bugs forum as well so I'll get that fixed up since it should be able to authenticate either.

I changed my password from crypt to MD5 and I can login just fine and it upgraded flawlessly. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
