UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support installing on hosting with eve "alki"

Can someone help me get started here? We are hosted with eve but not going to use the ubb.x (didn't like it) so we purchased the threads license and now need to download the right version.
From what i understand it is linux not unix hosting. does infopop have unix hosting and is that what we need rather than what we got?

If I use what we have what version do i download the php UBB thread 6 or the older Perl version that i notice says it is not used or supported now? I need this to be as easy as possible so if info pop hosts unix i need to do that or does what we have work with the php files as weel and i just need to download the php ubb threads 6 from the mebers area?

Our web hosting services use Linux. Generally, when something talks about Unix (like our install instructions), it also works on Linux.
