What exactly are Wordlets and how can they be used?

In decently non-technical terms ('cause I'm not really that technical of a person <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ), Wordletsâ„¢ is a very nifty feature that allows you to literally translate the language of the board. Now, don't misunderstand me: you can't translate the user's posts, you can only translate things like the control panel, the error messages, buttons (like "post reply", etc), etc. So, with that said: it's a really cool feature. You can not only change the language of the board, but you can just change the way things are said. So, if instead of "Forum" you wanted it called "Room", you could do that. . . If, instead of "Post Reply", you wanted it to say "Make Witty Remark", you can do that too. . .

To add on to Kate's reply, with the Wordletâ„¢ feature in UBBâ„¢, you can translate the entire message board interface right from the control panel. Basically, Wordlets are text blurbs that are separated from the content (HTML and code) to allow for simpler changes.

Once you purchase and install your UBBâ„¢, you can get started. From your UBBâ„¢ control panel, click on "Wordlets." There, you can choose from 5 different sets of Wordlets. The main Wordlets that will affect your board's front-end interface is "Primary Wordlets." You can change any of the text by typing in the boxes on the right-hand side and clicking the update button at the bottom of the page.
