UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback Option for Signature once per page

One of the more useful add-on features that we added to our UBB.Classic board was code to limit each member's signature to show up only once per viewed page. Doing so dramatically reduces the cluttered look of a flat thread.

If there's any way to add such functionality to the control panel, I'd be eternally greatful, and so would my forum members.

I would appreciate that as well.

I would also welcome this ... in fact, I don't know how difficult it'd be, but I'd love to be able to have the ability to turn off signatures in either certain threads* or even forums.

Some of my members either don't *get* how to turn off their signature lines for individual posts--or they're too stooooopid.

*We have had condolence threads going for high profile members who lost their moms and/or brother, and many didn't turn off their signatures--offsetting their heartfelt words (IMO).
