Macintosh System Disk 690-5003-B

Was Released In Two Varieties --- 690-5003B and 690-5003-B

The First Variety Came With The Purchase Of A New Mac 128k

And Was Included In The Traditional Plastic Box

The Part Number 690-5003B Was On The Reverse Label

And Positioned In The Center, The Same As Version A.

The Second Variety Was Released To Dealers

Who In Turn Made The Disks Available To Their Customers.

The Part Number 690-5003-B Was Positioned On The Reverse Label

And Placed In The Now Familiar Right-Hand Corner.

The Contents of Each Disk Was Exactly The Same.

They Both Contained Version 1.1 Of The System File and

Version 1.1g Of the Finder. The New System Corrected

Many of the Bugs That Were Contained In Version 1.0.

This Particular Set Is Listed For 1500.00.

Definitely An Inflated Price.

However, If You Do See These Disks On

Try To Scoop Them Up

They’re Hard To Find And Could Command A Premium

Especially If They’re In Good Working Order
