The modification process begins with a brand new, factory static bag sealed,H949MRiser card.The card is then professionallymodified, with a custom machine cut at the ends of all three rail slots. Cutting an opening like this is a very precise task(nicking either of the end gold pins will fault the card!).
Don\'t risk installing a faulty card! Unlike others, I take pride in the fact that my modification cuts arePerfect!
Look at the picture of the top of the the two rails. You will notice that the cut distance in between the two square holes ispreciselycentered in both directions. The depth of the cut is also perfectly aligned with the bottom shelf(not bragging, just saying!).
Once cut, the card is hand de-burred, inspected and thoroughlycleaned. It is then treated with a specialized conductive spray and tested to insure that it isplug-and-play ready. The card is then resealed in a new static bag and readied for shipment.
These newly opened slots can now accommodatethe installation of a single, double or a pair of x16 lane PCIe cards. These can be a GPU,a GPGPU,atranscode acceleration card, a PCIe VM passthrough cardor other specialized cards that are too long for the normal slot.
