An incredible piece of early American semiconductor and renewable energy history. This collection features 10 original vintage Monsanto silicon solar cell wafers harvested directly from their original factory shipping container, accompanied by the original hand-annotated 1977 Monsanto factory traveler card.

- Silicon Specifications: N-Type, Phosphorus Doped (PHOS), Resistivity .3–3.0
- Cell Design: Screen-printed silver grid contacts and vertical busbars on the front face.
- Factory Stamping: Back faces stamped in black ink H - 9 77 (September 1977 production batch).
- Included Paperwork: Original physical Monsanto factory traveler ticket (Lot X-9-77 / Vendor Lot 75-213) detailing the step-by-step manufacturing run (Diffusion, Sandblast, Etch, Grid Screen, Au & Ni Plate, Solder Dip, Test, Grade).
- Included Shipper: Original custom-molded Monsanto styrofoam wafer box with red factory label (Lot No. 75-201).
Condition Notes:
All 10 wafers are intact and uncracked with excellent grid contact alignment and crisp back-stamping. The paper traveler card and styrofoam container show light authentic industrial wear and age toning. Please inspect all high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic condition.
