This cable is designed to protect critical data from EMI (ElectroMagnetic interference), which can degrade, disrupt or even interrupt connectivity.

It is suitable for use in environments where stable data transfer is critical and where electromechanical devices such as electric motors, transformers, magnets and fluorescent lighting ballasts can cause interference.

The cable is made of four twisted 26AWG pure copper wire pairs wrapped in aluminum shielding foil with a PVC jacket and snagless molded boot.

The RJ45 plugs have 50 micron gold plated contacts and the snagless bubble design protects the locking tabs on the connectors from being damaged or accidentally snapped off.

The cable is UL verified and meets TIA/EIA-568-C.2 Cat.5E standards.
