This unique 12inch cable allows you to use an external USB type A connector (or one on a PCI card) and turn it into another internal 4pin / 5pin header like you would find on a motherboard.

Even though this cable only has 4 wires it still can be used with 5pin devices because the 5th pin is a redundant (extra) ground.

Can be used for USB 1.1 or USB 2.0
