Compatibility note:

Windows 11/10 and most macOS are plug-and-play. Windows 7/8 and Linux require a driver—please contact the seller for the driver file. Use a USB 3.0/3.1 port. 2.5Gbps needs a 2.5G router/switch/NAS and CAT6/CAT6A; otherwise it negotiates to 1Gbps/100Mbps. USB-C and USB-A are alternative plugs—use one at a time.

2.5G Ethernet Adapter Usage Notes

• To achieve 2.5Gbps speed, the host device must support USB 3.0 or higher.

• A 2.5G router/switch/modem and Cat5e or above Ethernet cable are required.

• Some older operating systems may require driver installation—please refer to the instructions on the back of the package.

Note: This is a 2.5G Ethernet adapter. Please use at least Cat5e (Cat6 recommended) cable and connect it to a 1G/2.5G Ethernet port. Actual speed depends on the Ethernet port specification, your internet service plan and the performance of your device. If the test result is lower than expected, please carefully check the cable category, Ethernet port specification, service plan and test settings.
