Lot of 2 Vintage Highland / 3M 5¼-Inch Floppy Diskette Boxes – New Old Stock

Included are two boxes of Highland 5¼-inch diskettes, manufactured by 3M.

Each box contains:

10 diskettes

5¼ inch

SS, DD, RH

Single Side / Double Density / Soft Sector

Packaging states they are intended for use with:

Apple II most other SS systems

The packaging is marked © 3M 1987 and identifies 3M Data Storage Products.

Both boxes appear to be unopened new-old-stock and retain their original shrink wrap.

One box has comparatively intact/tight shrink wrap.

The second box has an area where the original plastic wrap has loosened/separated along one side and near an end. Based on its current condition, the opening does not appear sufficient for the cardboard box itself to have been opened or the contents removed. Please see the close-up photos showing this area.

Both packages show normal age and long-term storage wear, including some dust, surface marks, wrinkles and wear to the outer shrink wrap.

Because the boxes have not been opened, the individual vintage diskettes have not been tested, and no guarantee can be made regarding current magnetic-media reliability.

You will receive the exact two boxes shown in the photographs.
