Testing
The drives in this lot were individually tested using native SAS connectivity.
Testing showed:
- Drive health checks passed
- Direct block-access verification returned SCSI Data Protect / Access denied
- No uncorrected read/write errors detected
- No grown defect elements detected
- No non-medium error counts detected
- Endurance used across the tested drives was approximately 3–7%
- Observed operating temperatures were approximately 23–30°C
These are previously deployed enterprise drives being sold in good used condition.
Important XtremIO Compatibility Information
These are previously deployed EMC XtremIO SEDs, not ordinary generic SAS SSDs intended to be installed directly into a standard server or storage system.
Because they were previously used in an XtremIO environment, a buyer installing them into another compatible XtremIO environment may need to use the appropriate XtremIO procedure for importing previously deployed/foreign SSDs.
Please make sure you understand the XtremIO SSD replacement/import process and have a compatible XtremIO environment before purchasing.
These drives are best suited for an experienced EMC XtremIO user, integrator, service provider, or parts buyer who understands the requirements associated with previously deployed XtremIO SSDs.
