The wider 140mm body + 40mm thickness packs 137.22 dm² into a 280mm frame — that's 63% more cooling than a standard 360mm slim radiator (84 dm²). Fits cases that support 280mm but not 360mm.
💧16 Waterways — Wider Body, More Channels
Unlike the 12-channel 120mm series, the 140mm-class CRD28 packs 16 precision water channels. The extra width allows more channels — lower flow resistance, more even coolant distribution, better thermal efficiency.
🌬140mm Fan Optimized — Quieter Cooling
Two 140mm fans move more air at lower RPM than two 120mm fans. The wider 140mm body fully captures the larger fan sweep. At 1000 RPM, you get ~140 CFM total airflow vs ~100 CFM from 120mm pairs.
🔩40mm Steel Frame — Compact but Tough
Reinforced 40mm steel frame provides rigidity for the wider body. Copper fins + brass water chambers, high-temperature integrated welding. Built to the same factory standards as the 420mm CRD42.
🛠Complete Screw Kit — Push-Pull Ready
Includes 8x M3x30 long fan screws + 8x M3x6 short radiator mounting screws — enough for push-pull dual 140mm fans plus case mounting right out of the box.
