• Open the front cover of your laser printer and remove the used imaging drum.
• Unpack the new imaging drum and remove all protective covering and tape.
• Hold the drum by its frame only — do not touch the green drum surface, and avoid exposing it to direct light for extended periods.
• Align the drum with its guide rails and slide it in until it clicks into place.
• Close the front cover; the printer will recognize the new drum automatically.
• If the printer still displays a "Replace Drum" or similar message, reset the drum counter in the printer's menu or settings.🔧 Chip / Firmware Notice:
• This imaging drum is equipped with a new smart chip, so your printer can track drum life automatically.
• Upon installation, your printer may display a "Non-HP" or similar message. This is completely normal for a compatible imaging drum — simply press OK / Continue / Accept to proceed and start printing.
• If the drum is not recognized, remove it and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Do not touch the chip contacts.
