This is the fastest possible 486 setup (with the exception of peltier or liquid nitrogen cooled 200Mhz rarities). The great AMD 5x86 processor (which in reality is a pure 486 design only marketing made it half 5th generation) runs stable at 4 x 40Mhz speed accompanied with 16MB 60ns EDO RAM this configuration would be perfect for MS-DOS gaming (with another 16MBs of memory early Win9x gaming is also achievable). The PCI slots make it possible to install powerful graphics cards (even a 3Dfx Voodoo 2 is not unheard of in such setups) or more modern sound cards, while the ISA slots provide backward compatibility.
I tested the configuration and offering it with warranty. I can also build a complete computer based on this board with selected addon cards and drives in an AT desktop or tower case.

I have been collecting vintage PCs, parts and accessories as a hobby for 15 years.

The hardware I’m selling were all tested usually on the day of the listing or not too much earlier. I take responsibility of their functionality for a reasonable testing period (one week following delivery). If there would be a problem I would either return the money or send a replacement part.

In most cases I have software and electronic documentation for the listed items which I would gladly share.

I provide combined shipping for sales ending in a few days interval.

The items are safely packaged in antistatic bag, bubble wrap and cardboard boxes taking into account the size and weight of the hardware and the destination country.
