• What filament types does this desiccant protect?

  This 4A molecular sieve desiccant is designed to help protect a wide range of filament materials during storage, including PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, PA and more. It is suitable for use in Bambu AMS systems, filament dry boxes and sealed spool containers.

• Does this desiccant contain cobalt chloride?

  No. Unlike some blue indicating silica gel beads, this formula contains no cobalt chloride color-change chemicals. The included digital hygrometer lets you monitor humidity levels directly, so you always know when it's time to recharge your desiccant.

• Can I use these beads with DIY 3D printed desiccant boxes?

  Yes. The 3–5mm beads work with the included organza bags or can be placed directly into DIY 3D printed desiccant boxes, AMS desiccant trays, spool holder inserts or dry box containers, giving you flexible options beyond standard fixed desiccant packs.

• What is included in the kit?

  Each kit includes 2LB of 4A molecular sieve beads, 1 digital hygrometer, 10 reusable organza bags and 1 measuring scoop. Everything you need to set up moisture control across multiple filament spools or storage containers is included in one package.

• When should I recharge the desiccant beads?

  Check your digital hygrometer regularly. When humidity climbs above your target range, it's time to recharge. Regenerate the beads using controlled heat per your material safety guidance, then let them cool completely before returning them to bags or containers.
