Gently shake the toner cartridge from side to side to distribute the toner evenly.

Step 2:
Pull out the sealing tape.

Remove the cover.

How to Fixed the Supply Problem of CF500 202 Printers1.Turn off Check Automatically and Allow Updates
Laserjet Update → Manage Update → Check Automatically → NO → Allow Update → NO

2. Check Firmware Datecode
System setup → Service → Firmware Datecode

If your firmware datecode is earlier than 20221010,the setting is done.
If your firmware datecode is 20221010, you might meet "Non-HP" error message, but you could ignore it and continue to use the cartridge.
And to eliminate the error message, you could go ahead with the following steps to downgrade firmware.

3.Downgrade firmware
Setup → Service → LaserJet Update → Manage Updates → Check Automatically → NO
Manage Updates → Allow Updates → YES
Manage Updates → Allow Downgrade → YES

Click the Downgrade Firmware on your computer → Select your printer model → Click "Send Firmware" → Until the smile logo appears

4. Turn off Allow Updates
Setup → Service → LaserJet Update → Manage Updates → Allow Updates → NO
