You are purchasing four pieces of a newly made memory module manufactured by myself. The memory modules have been engineered using high quality 4 layer gold plated printed circuit board with internal power and ground planes for maximum data integrity and low power supply ripple. Each memory modules has been professionally hand assembled using new old stock memory chips, and has been individual tested to pass the standard and extended test in a SIMCheck II.
Modules are guaranteed to be functional and have been fully characterized in the SIMCheck II to comply with the 60ns latency (see histogram plot).
COMPATIBILITY:
Compatible with most systemsaccepting non-parity 1MB 30-pin SIMM modules
16-bit bus systems will require SIMMs installed in pair (68000 macintosh, 386SX PCs)
32-bit bus systems will require SIMMs installed in groups of 4
Older Macintosh systems may require "PAL" RAM or a ROM upgrade and not work with 1MB two chip modules
IBM PC compatible may need parity RAM, older 286 and 386 systems may only work with 1MB modules with 8 or 9 chips (9 address lines A0-A8 available)
On systems with multiple memory banks, 1MB SIMMs may only work in some banks, or under condition that the first bank is filled with lower capacity SIMMs
Check compatibility of your system/motherboard in the documentation to see what is permitted by the BIOS or ROM of the system
