This beautifully preserved set combines minimalist industrial design with the precision manufacturing quality of late-1980s Italy — a rare and fully functional piece of computing history.

Offered here is a complete Exponent / Expodata S.p.A. modular filing cabinet system consisting of 18 stackable drawers arranged in six interlocking tiers.

Each drawer securely holds up to 60 standard 3.5″ floppy disks, guided by smooth red internal rails for easy access and perfect alignment.

Every drawer features:

• A locking latch compatible with the included original Exponent key

• A clear front label window for indexing

• The embossed EXPONENT logo molded directly into the front panel of each drawer.

Also included are 69 original plastic disk dividers, allowing customizable organization within each drawer.

There are some minor scuffs as pictured. One of the clips that holds the tiers together is in, but clearly is broken. It is missing one of the decorative clips from the top tier.

These are surprisingly very hard to come by. If you have a vintage computer collection, you pretty much need to have this as well.

Because they may contain confidential information the floppy disks which are pictured to show capacity are not included with the cabinet.
