Definition of OEM
An OriginalEquipment Manufacturer (OEM) is a company that produces parts or components usedin another company’s product. For Example if Samsung sells a SSD directly toDell then the Samsung SSD will have a Samsung "OEM" label with Dellname on the drive. Some common brands on OEM labels include HP, Dell andLenovo. Please note that OEM Solid State (SSD) or hard drives, typically do notinclude any manufacturer's warranty. A warranty may be provided by the sellerif explicitly stated.

Guaranteed Authentic
We onlysell authentic brand SSD drives and computer parts.
KeyAspects of Authentic SSD Drives:
- Official Warranty Support: Authentic drives are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and can be registered online, allowing for RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) directly with the brand (e.g., Seagate, WD), as opposed to "grey market" drives that lack this support.
- Manufacturer's software (e.g. SanDisk Dashboard, Samsung Magician) will recognized the SSD as valid or genuine. .
- Genuine drives have genuine firmware: These drives run the original firmware, ensuring they have the advertised capacity, speed, and reliability.
Risks of Non-AuthenticDrives:Without a guarantee of authenticity, consumers may receivecounterfeit drives.
Product Registration
Please save you receipt. A copy of your receipt may be required to validatethe effective start date of your item's warranty. If you need a copy ofyour receipt please contact us.For NEW retail products like SSDs, inorder to validate a serial number or register the product. The buyer mustprovide the information requested on the manufacturer's web site forregistering the product. For example Western Digital (WD) (Now SanDisk)require and specify the following: "If you do not have a valid receipt, please photograph your product front & back and upload photographs."Please note that this step is extremely important because not all serialnumbers can be confirmed with the online serial number status tool.Withthis understanding, the buyer agrees and understands that web site serialnumber "STATUS" tool can help authenticate items, but it alone cannotdetermine if an item is authentic or fake. Many authentic serial numbers do notexist in the online database. This is exactly why the registration process mayrequire a copy of your receipt and sometimes a photo of the actual item. Pleasenote that OEM Solid State (SSD) or hard drives, even if new, usually do notallow registration or include any manufacturer warranty. Please contact us ifyou have any issues. We will assist you with registering yourproduct.
Drive Health / Remaining Life
The rateddrive health or remaining life is based on the software used and shown on thislisting. Some programs may read the SMART data differently and could report aslightly different value (usually within 1% of the value we have posted). Olderdrives (like some mSATA SSD) are not read correctly by certain softwareprograms. By purchasing this item, the buyer acknowledges and accepts theseknown technicalissues and discrepancies. Please contact us if youhave concerns and prior to requesting a return. We can usually resolve yourconcerns if we are given a chance to explain certain technical aspects that areunknown to buyers.
OurCancellation Policy
Buyer mayrequest cancellation of orders. For computer systems, we can usuallycancel orders within 16 hrs of purchase. After 24 hours it becomes less likelyyour order can be cancelled because most orders have shipped within 24 hours. Smallitems like SSD drives often ship out same day so these items often cannot becancelled unless we receive your request within 1 hour of ordering. Also, rarely we may need to contact you through to clarify details about an itemor purchase. We may need to contact you if there was a listing error or tooffer a equal substitution or upgrade if a part is out of stock or failedduring final test phase (pre-shipping). Note that failure to respond to ourrequest for clarification or additional information, will be handled as yourequesting cancellation of your order. Also, if you accidentally purchased anitem that is exclusively sold as an add-on part to a system, then your orderwill be handled as though you requested cancellation of your order.
