With 32 cores and 64 threads, this SP3 processor delivers exceptional throughput for virtualization, HPC, cloud workloads, and high-density compute applications.
The EPYC 7551 features 64MB of L3 cache, 8-channel DDR4-2666 memory support (up to 2TB RAM per socket), and 128 PCIe 3.0 lanes per socket - making it one of the highest I/O-bandwidth server CPUs of its generation. The PS7551BDVIHAFV variant runs at 2.25GHz base with 3.0GHz boost at 200W TDP, a slight clock and power bump over the standard 2.0GHz / 180W retail version.
