This is not a universal USB card. The ThunderboltEX 5 is designed for select ASUS motherboards and requires a compatible motherboard with the proper Thunderbolt/USB4 header, USB 2.0 header, available PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, and appropriate internal power connection for full functionality.
Please verify your exact motherboard compatibility on the ASUS support page before purchasing. Video output support also depends on your GPU, DisplayPort input connection, monitor, cable, and system configuration.
