Freshly received from their repair center in Texas, used for a week while waiting for their support team.
I don't believe their new 3 month warranty will transfer however.

I was sent multiple replacement monitors because I originally owned an early no-longer-made Acer Model I sent in for repair. However, all of these new modelsseem to have a"eye strain reduction" thing that happens when you lean too close(closer than ~3ft?). It is not a defect, but apparently part of the design. They sent me several models until this upgraded version and confirmed all of their new models have this and would no longer replace this one. (both are cropped) |Left: picture taken from ~3ft away | Right: picture taken from ~1 ft awayIt's difficult to portray in images but it's more of an "angle" thing than a "brightness" change. My phone camera is doing some auto-light balancing? It doesn't look like the right image necessarily.Consider checking out a display model of a new Acer monitor at an electronics store before buying.
If you're the type of person who does not lean into your monitor or are planning to use this at a distance, this monitor looks great!
The colors are bright and the refresh rates are incredibly smooth.
