The 1783-MX08T plugs into the module bus of a Stratix 8000 base unit (1783-MS series) or Stratix 8300 to add eight additional copper Ethernet ports to the managed switch chassis. Note: Rockwell Automation has discontinued the 1783-MX08T; this unit is available as replacement/spare inventory for existing installations.
**IMPORTANT - expansion module only:**The 1783-MX08T cannot function as a standalone device. It has no power input of its own - it is powered entirely through the Stratix 8000/8300 chassis bus connector.
