By using the Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1, the concave bending of the CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) caused by the standard Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) is avoided. The Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1 is compatible with Intel Core Ultra 200 Series processors for the LGA1851 socket. Additionally, the frame is compatible with CPUs whose Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) has been sanded down by no more than 0.2 millimeters. Care must be taken during installation to ensure no electronic components are located under the frame, especially with Mini-ITX form factor motherboards. Removing the Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) from the motherboard may void the manufacturer's warranty for the motherboard!
