Amiga MOS 8370 chip part # 318070-01 IC chip in slightly imperfect (flawed) condition. Apparently this chip is a Fat Agnus chip for some NTSC (for U.S. instead of the European PAL video) Amiga 500 and Amiga 2000 computers. These particular chips may be blemished and/or have a few slightly bent legs requiring precision repair before use. We don't recommend buying one (or more) of these unless you have steady hands, good eyes and some precision tools for carefully straightening the few tiny legs which may be slightly bent. None of the legs on these chips are broken or severely bent though. The chip you receive may look slightly worse than the chip shown in the photo. We don't know if these are pulls (from Amiga computers) or not. They may have just been poorly stored. Fifteen or twenty years ago we picked up many of these from a major corporation that used to refurbish Commodore and Amiga computers. We picked up around ten thousand other Commodore and Amiga chips from the same source and have sold thousands of them over the last 15 or 20 years with great success and very few problems.

We ship these chips in special static-resistant chip boxes with black crisp anti-static foam to protect them.

The photo shown may vary slightly from the actual chip you receive and the date production code may be different. Also, the print style and MOS logo on some of these chips is different than on others. These chips are in fair overall condition but will not be in mint condition. These chips have been stored in chip tubes which may have scratched them slightly or caused other minor blemishes. We take note of the production date codes of all chips shipped and oftentimes put little warranty stickers on the bottom of the chips which we ship in order to make sure that any returns are chips which we actually sold. Also, some of these that we have remaining have a little orange or white paint-like dot on the top of them (not shown in the photo) which was on there when we received them and appears to be the previous distributor's version of a warranty sticker or chip identifier. Any returned chips which do not match the production date codes (and/or other identifiers-- like the orange or other color dot) or which have missing or damaged warranty stickers will not be refunded.
