Up for sale is a complete, original-box copy of MacPaint for the Apple Macintosh — one of the most iconic and historically significant software titles ever released. MacPaint shipped with the original 1984 Macintosh and essentially defined what a graphical paint program could be, influencing software design for decades.

Condition:The box is in great shape for its age — better than most examples you'll find. Disks are excellent. The manual remains factory sealed in original shrink wrap — an extraordinary find for a 40+ year old software package. This is about as close to new-old-stock as you're going to find for early Mac software.

MacPaint was co-created by Bill Atkinson and became one of the most beloved applications in computing history. Finding a complete, clean copy is already difficult — one with a sealed manual is genuinely exceptional.
