Factory-Original 2003 Apple PowerBook G4 15-inch Media & Documentation Set

Up for sale is the single-owner documentation and software package originally shipped inside with an early-2003 15-inch Apple PowerBook G4. I believe the set is complete, and includes factory-sealed system install and restore DVDs, complete printed manuals, proof-of-purchase coupons, and pre-installed AirPort card documentation.

Included in This Lot:

• Factory-Sealed Software Install and Restore Packet (2003): 3 DVDs in individual paper sleeves inside the untouched factory seal. Top disc is PowerBook G4 15 inch Software Install and Restore (Mac OS X v10.2.3 / Mac OS 9.2.2 / DVD v1.0 / Part 691-4316-A). Barcodes on reverse side: 603-2387-A and 603-2807-A. Seal is intact; outer plastic shows light storage/handling marks.
  • Dual-Boot OEM Media: These discs include both Mac OS X v10.2.3 and Mac OS 9.2.2. This specific DVD set allows compatible 2003 PowerBook G4 models to dual-boot directly into native Mac OS 9.2.2 for running classic legacy software, or running via within OS X.
• Mac OS 10.2 Proof of Purchase Coupons (2002): Unused 3-coupon sheet (Part 034-2195-A) in pristine condition.
• Getting Started With Your PowerBook G4 Manual (2002): Part 034-2221-A. Clean interior pages and sharp corners. Has light pencil notes on the front cover and minor handling indentations.
• AirPort Card Documentation Set (2003): Includes User's Guide (Part 034-2252-A), AppleCare Guide (033-2132-A), Warranty (AM033-2121-A), and Regulatory Certification (033-2122-A). All pristine.
• Apple 1-Year Limited Warranty Sheet (2001): Large format, Part AM033-1910-A. Includes a factory assembly detail: a small paper trace separated onto the outer sleeve adhesive when unsealed.
• AppleCare Service & Support Document (2001): Large format, Part 033-1768-A. Minor storage impressions.
• Original Factory Outer Clear Sleeve: Sized for the G4 manual stack with original label scuffing from production (with residue of paper in seal from Warranty sheet, mentioned above).

Complete Factory Software Suite (Part 691-4316-A):

Because this is an authentic OEM PowerBook G4 restore set, installing from these discs restores the complete, original 2003 factory software loadout. I haven't broken the seal to confirm disc contents, but standard factory bundles for this part number include Mac OS X v10.2.3, native Mac OS 9.2.2, AppleWorks, the iLife suite components standard to that era, Sherlock 3, and bundled system tools.

My best understanding is that these are all included, but please confirm compatibility or specific application versions or other details if they are essential to your project, as I am not an expert:

Core System & Suites:

• Mac OS X v10.2.3 Jaguar
• Mac OS 9.2.2 (Native Boot & Classic Environment)
• AppleWorks
• iLife Suite components (iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD)
• Sherlock 3 & System Utilities

Bundled Productivity & Graphics Tools:

• OmniGraffle
• OmniOutliner
• FaxSTF
• GraphicConverter
• Art Director's Toolkit

Note on Operating System Name:

Apple marketed OS X 10.2 under the product name "Jaguar," though system-specific OEM restore discs like these are officially labeled by version number (v10.2.3) and hardware model rather than the cat name. (If you are looking for a Jaguar retail box version, please see my other listings!)

Hardware Compatibility Notice:

Please note that these are model-specific OEM Restore discs. They are factory-coded specifically for the 15-inch PowerBook G4 (2003 model) and will not install or boot on other Mac models, desktop computers, or different display sizes. Please verify hardware compatibility with your machine prior to purchasing.

Shipping & Handling:

Will be packed inside a padded envelope utilizing rigid backing and bubble wrap to ensure all paper goods, corners, and sealed media remain flat and safe during transit. Ships via USPS Ground or Priority with tracking. If you prefer shipping in a box, please contact me so we can make arrangements for an additional shipping fee.

Feel free to request more photos or ask questions.
