Vintage Apple 17-inch PowerBook G4 A1085 in working condition, running Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger.
This PowerBook has been individually tested rather than simply powered on. Estate sourced, the previous owner's user account and home folder have been removed, and a new generic PowerBook User administrator account has been created with password removed for easy setup.
Condition
Used – tested and working. Vintage Apple PowerBook G4 shows cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including scratches/scuffs to the aluminum case and more noticeable wear on the underside. Some keyboard lettering shows wear.
The display has a small cosmetic blemish/spot that remained after gentle cleaning. One small rubber piece near the upper display latch is torn/deteriorated. The lid/display has a slight bow when closed and does not sit completely flush along the edge; the latch itself works properly and securely holds the lid closed.
Battery is installed and recognized by the computer but does not hold a usable charge. During testing, the computer shut down shortly after being disconnected from AC power. Plan on using the included AC adapter or replacing the battery for portable use.
Please review all photos closely, including the close-ups of these cosmetic issues- scratches on the exterior are hard to photograph but are present and represented as closely as possible given lighting and photo limitations.

Ethernet, FireWire, video-out, DVD playback and disc-writing functions were not tested.
