WalkmanDude is proud to present to you the computer that saved Apple, The beautiful iMac G3! This is the slot loading 500 Mhz machine with the 8MB ATI Rage Pro Graphics. It has been maxed out with 1GB of RAM and upgraded with a brand new large 128GB SSD conversion making this machine significantly faster than the day it was purchased! It has been cleaned inside and out, boards and fans dusted out, and the PRAM Battery has been replaced. This is the absolute best vintage computer time capsule you will find on . The machine is fully loaded with tons of memorabilia from the late 90s to early 2000s era. This machine does a lot and is completely ready to use! The machine dual boots into OS 9.2.2 and OS X and loads Windows 98.It can even browse vintage websites like its 1999! WalkmanDude has spent hundreds of hours bringing these machines back to life and we truly want you to have a fantastic trip down memory lane and enjoy the vintage computing experience!
Included is an easy to understand user manual with pictures explaining how to operate all the functions and software of the machine and of course we are always here to help if you have any questions. The machine has lots of excellent applications and you can easily transport documents from the computer to any modern machine with a standard USB thumb drive and even google drive can open the document files! There is also a bootable backup partition with a copy of the OS so you can always bring the machine back to its original state.
These machines are all plagued with worn-out cd drives and blown out speakers BUT NOT OURS! The CD-ROM drive has been refurbished, the laser cleaned, gears lubricated, renewed rubber and new belts for easy insertion and ejection.
The speakers have also been completely replaced with brand new ones that sound much better than the originals! So get ready to start blasting your favorite iTunes playlists! If you were more of a Winamp person, rest assured that is also on the machine.
This iMac even connects to the internet through the ethernet port and has been programmed with Netscape Navigator to connect to the PROTOWEB which is a vintage web-server that hosts 1000s of vintage websites that completely recreate the experience of surfing the web in the 90s and early 00s. The Logitech F310 gamepad drivers have been installed and is ready to use, it is a top notch modern gamepad that works wonderfully with vintage Macs and Windows 98 and works in many of the games. Late 90s early 00s computer gaming was predominately designed for the keyboard but some games are much easier to play with the gamepad so of course we included one!

This is a fantastically restored and maxed out iMac G3 with years of fun installed and ready to go. The case is in almost pristine condition but when you get closer you can see that it has some wear on it but nothing notable.
