Original setup manuals and powers on successfully and boots into MacOS 8.6. If desired, the operating system can be upgraded to MacOS 9.2.
The original 13 GB hard drive was upgraded to a brand new 120 GB SSD (see last photo). In addition to larger robust storage, the computer now runs faster, cooler, and quieter.
The original 128 MB of RAM was supplemented with 256 MB giving a total of 384 MB of RAM.
The internal 3.6v battery was replaced in June 2026 so datesand times are retained even when the computer is disconnected from power.
Cosmetically the system is in extremely nice condition for its age with very clean plastics and matching accessories.
Box and internal packaging are in very good condition.
The CD/DVD eject mechanism is working well (see video). On rare occasions, when a disk is ejected, it sticks out about a half inch and can be grabbed by hand and removed.
