The Arecont Vision AV1215PM-S 1.2 Megapixel/Dual Mode Day/Night Camera with 1/2.3" CMOS image sensordelivers clear images in H.264 and MJPEG formats at a resolution of up to 3648(H) x 2752 (V) in mode 1 and at a resolution of up to 1920(H) x 1080(V) in mode2. The network camera can sustain over 80 billion operations per second andmaintains full motion progressive scan 3648 x 2752 video at6 fps todeliver high-quality images. The camera uses a mechanical IR cut filter toswitch between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting.

With a minimum illumination of 0.6 lux at f/1.4 and binningtechnology, the color camera delivers clear images even in low light conditionsand increases sensitivity. Additionally, MoonLight mode can be activated in lowlight areas to capture more light. The multi-streaming feature enables you tostream up to 8 concurrent non-identical streams with different frame-rates,bit-rates, resolutions, and picture quality.

With the forensic zooming feature, the camera can be areplacement for other PTZ devices and also allows you to zoom either liverecordings or 'after event' video when recording the full field-of-view in HD.This is useful when CCTV video footage needs to be previewed and analyzed incriminal and other legal cases.

The on-camera motion detection feature consists of 64 detectionzones. When motion is detected, either an audio alarm triggers or recordingstarts. The camera is powered by PoE, which supplies power to the camera fromthe network itself without requiring any extra wiring for auxiliary poweroutlets. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintainconstant brightness level and backlight compensation adjusts video gain tocorrect the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a brightlight. With the auto multi-matrix white balance feature, the camera takes astandard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colorsto produce good quality images in different light conditions.

The programmable shutter speed helps you control motion blur,resulting in crisp and clear images.
