Up for sale is a remarkably complete, single-owner time capsule of 1980s computing: a complete
Atari 1040ST professional Desktop Publishing (DTP) workstation bundle. This setup includes the core computer,
matching monochrome monitor, an external hard drive, and the rare laser printer interface module.
Having the entire original set together—complete with the original factory packaging—makes this an ideal
restoration project or centerpiece for a retro-computing enthusiast.
### Testing Status & Honest Condition (Please Read):
* **Atari SM124 Monitor:** SUCCESS. Tested to power on only.
* **Atari Megafile 60 Hard Drive:** SUCCESS. Powers up successfully and the heavy vintage drive platters
can be heard spinning smoothly up to speed.
* **Atari 1040ST Computer:** NEEDS REPAIR. The unit does not currently respond or light up when
the power switch is flipped. This is common for this model after decades in storage and typically indicates
the internal power supply board needs new capacitors or a fuse replacement.
* **Atari SLMC804 Printer Interface:** Untested, included as-is.
* **The Original Boxes:** The factory cardboard boxes are included, but **they are in poor cosmetic condition**.
Expect heavy surface dirt/soiling from decades of storage, tearing around the corners/flaps, and typical wear and tear of time.
The inner styrofoam pieces are present but show aging.
