These are the 28 AWG slim-body version, and that is the reason to buy them. A standard 24 AWG patch cord is fine one at a time; put forty-eight of them in a 2U horizontal manager and the bundle stops bending and starts fighting you. The thinner cord diameter lets a dense rack close up cleanly, keeps airflow through the back of the switch, and makes it possible to pull one cord out of the middle of a bundle without disturbing its neighbors.
Ten feet covers switch to patch panel across a cabinet, or a rack to a nearby workstation drop. White suits offices where the cords are visible.
Made in the USA. Each cord is individually bagged as it came from Belden - none of them have been opened, plugged in, or handled beyond counting.
