I have an old shop printer that only prints using the Parallel Port. I cannot get the USB port to function, and its been that way for years. I also cannot get it to print a status report to show page and drum count. Printer works fine if you have a parallel port. I no longer have a computer that has a parallel port unfortunately. It has toner in it and does print as shown with the test page. I don't know how much life is left on the drum or the toner cartridge as I just purchase toner bottles to refill it with in the past. Great printer for a workshop/office however, it is not networkable that I know of, it doesn't have a ethernet port.
