Cisco's Supervisor Engine 2T architecture provides a 2-Terabit crossbar switch fabric and supports up to 80 Gbps of switching capacity per slot in compatible Catalyst 6500 E-Series chassis. The standard VS-S2T-10G configuration incorporates the PFC4 forwarding engine and MSFC5.
The module provides five uplink interfaces: 2 10GBASE-X ports for X2 transceivers and 3 1000BASE-X ports for SFP transceivers.
