This is a Greenwave OEM, Centurylink banded fiber internet gateway or "modem".
If you have Centurylink / Quantum Fiber internet access and your equipment is older or has failed, this can be a suitable replacement at a low cost.
Including in this listing:
* One Centurylink C4000XG gateway
* One 12W 4A AC adapter tested to power this device
* One yellow ethernet cable to connect the gateway to a centurylink ethernet walljack.
Testing was performed by powering this device up with the included AC Adapter and connecting to it at IP Address 192.168.0.1 to login to the configuration screen. Screenshots showing the device ready for service are included in this listing.
IP address, Admin user login password and WIFI details are clearly marked on the bottom label of this device.
This device connects to Centurylink fiber internet devices and authenticates your CL account with their service to provide internet access. When used in an apartment building, CL will often bring an ethernet cable or walljack to your unit and this plugs into that. When used in single family homes, CL provides another Optical to Ethernet (ONT) device to provide this connection.
