This is a Cisco ACI Simulator (Application Centric Infrastructure) version 5.2-5c
The ACI Simulator is a Virtual Machine Appliance that simulates a Cisco ACI environment
It does it by creating a Network of several APIC Controllers (Application Policy Infrastructure Cont.) with Cisco ACI Spines and Cisco ACI Leafs
This is a great tool for the CCNP and even CCIE DC (Data Center) Exams.
This Simulator is implemented on a Dell R620 Server with 128GB RAM + 1TB SSD Drive
The Server also includes an EVE-NG VM with Nexus 7000 & 9000 Virtual Switches (NX-OSv 7K & 9K)
This provides the ability to create a separate Leaf & Spine Switch Nodes within the EVE-NG VM.
The EVE-NG VM also includes Network Nodes needed to emulate a Viptela SD-WAN Network
The R620 Server comes with 2 x Ten-Core Processors (Xeon E5-2660v2)
Ten-CoreProcessors have 20 vCPU\'s. Therefore, this Server has a total of 40 vCPU\'s

Inaddition, this Server also includes the following VM:

ACI Simulator License:The main features of the ACI Simulator don\'t require a License.
But some special/advanced features do need a License.
However, in case that you need to use any of theseadvanced features, you can register the Product to obtain an Evaluation License (or Demo License) with a 90 Days Validity Period.If you need to use theadvanced features after 90 days (after the Evaluation License expires) you can simply re-install the VM.We provide the .OVA file needed for this purpose.The ACI Simulator can be re-installed an unlimited number of times! EVE-NG Virtual Machine:
TheEVE-NG Server includes Nexus 7K & 9K Virtual Switches that allowyou to create Leaf & Spine Switch Nodes

EVE-NG vs CML-2:
EVE-NG Comm. is a Free, Open Source Software that can be used tosimulate complex networks.CML-2 is a Cisco Licensed Software that can also be used tosimulate complex networks.
Themain advantage of EVE-NG over CML is the fact that while CML provides aCisco-only environment, EVE-NG is NOT limited to Cisco Devices!
EVE-NG provides a Multi-vendor environment! Thatis, it allows you to emulate complex Networks with all kinds of NetworkDevices!

Important Note about the CML-2License:- The License for CML-2 is sold directly by Cisco for $200 for a 1-YearPeriod- But a CML-2 License is not really necessary,because EVE-NG (which is Free) can do everything that CML-2 does.
- However, some Virtual Devices do work better and faster under CML than under EVE-NG. And that might be reason why you would consider buying a CNL-2 License.

Client Station needed:
Just like all Servers, this item needs a separatecomputer (Client PC) to manage the Server and its VM\'s
Typical Server Management tasks include:
Power up/Power down VM\'s, AssignVLAN\'s and Network Ports to the VM\'s, etc.
TheESXi Server can be managed using either special Software known as the vSphere Client or through a Web Browser.
Bothcomputers (Server and Client PC) must be connected to a LAN Switch that couldbe your Home Router/Switch from your ISP.
Usingyour Home Router/Switch will the Server access to the Internet, whichcould be needed for some tasks.
Upgrade Options:Server comes with 128GB RAM. But RAM can grow up to768GB!
Theseare some other upgrade options available:- 1TB SSD Drive upgrade to 2TB or even 4TB SSD

CML Main Features:These are some of the most important features of the Cisco CML-2 Software:- Includes Official Cisco Images (it is the only Tool fully Licensed andapproved by Cisco!)

EVE-NG Main Features:
LikeGNS3, EVE-NG is Free because it doesn\'t include the actual IOS Imagesneeded to boot the Virtual Devices in your Network.
Withoutthe proper IOS Images, EVE-NG alone would be basically useless!
Therefore, you\'d need to provide these IOS Images andupload them to EVE-NG.
GNS3 & EVE-NG Users normally struggle trying to find the proper IOS Images.
However, our EVE-NG Server is already pre-loaded withmultiple IOS Images!
Asmentioned before, our EVE-NG Server includes all the Network Nodes needed toemulate a Viptela SD-WAN Network!
