The Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-EX is a 1RU fixed-configuration switch from the Nexus 9300-EX platform, engineered for cost-effective cloud-scale data center deployments. It offers 48 downlink ports configurable for 1, 10, or 25Gbps speeds alongside 6 uplink ports supporting 40 or 100Gbps QSFP28 connectivity, delivering up to 3.6 Tbps of bandwidth and over 2.8 billion packets per second with sub-microsecond latency. Built on Cisco's Cloud Scale ASIC architecture, the 93180YC-EX supports both NX-OS and ACI modes of operation, VXLAN/EVPN, line-rate encryption, and built-in support for Cisco Tetration Analytics and Nexus Data Broker. With a 4-core CPU, 24GB of system memory, and a 64GB SSD, this switch is well suited for spine-leaf architectures and data center access layer deployments requiring flexible migration paths from 10G to 25G at the server and 10G/40G to 50G/100G at aggregation.
