Fully tested Commodore 1541 drive. The following testing was done in 1541 diagnostics on a C64:

• Directory listing
• Alignment, and adjustment if needed
• Speed check, and adjustment if needed.
• Performance test

In addition, a game was loaded and run from disc.
The board or chips or drive itself may have been replaced to ensure operation. The board itself has had its tantalum caps replaced, since they tend to go up like matches.
Drive has been cleaned inside and out. I will ship this with 2 blank floppies formatted with this drive, one as a head stabilizer. Note that these are used floppies, and they may not have long-term integrity. Cosmetically, drive is in good condition with only slight discolorationNo power cable or serial cable included.
Note: These drives are mechanical and are old and crotchety. I have done my best to ensure correct operation, but they will eventually need additional service over time. Please check your drive upon receipt. I welcome returns on non-functional drives. I have shipped many of these drives to satisfied customers.
